What are Betting Market Tabs?

 

Betting market tabs on bet9ja  are categories of markets grouped together under one header, by clicking on any of the tabs the markets will update and you will have the possibility to select the odd of a specific event.

 

  Info Buttons are present close to each market, by clicking the icon an explanation of the selected market will be available.

 

Some examples of market tabs:

 

Main tab

  1X2 - You have to predict the outcome of the entire match. There are 3 possible outcomes:
1-Home team wins
X- Draw
2-Away team wins
  (O/U 2.5) - You have to predict if the total number of goals scored during the entire match will be over or under the spread indicated.
(2.5) O-Over 2.5 goals
(2.5) U- Under 2.5 goals
  DC - You have to predict the outcome of the entire match. There are 3 possible outcomes:
1X-(at the end of the match the home team wins or draws),
X2- (at the end of the match the away team wins or draws),
12-(at the end of the match the home team wins or the away team wins).

HT/FT – HALF TIME/FULL TIME tab

You have to predict the outcome of the 1st half time of the match together with the outcome of the entire match.





HF 1/1- Home team wins at HT, Home team wins at FT
HF 1/X- Home team leads HT, Draw FT
HF 1/2- Home team leads HT, Away team wins FT
HF X/1- Draw at HT, Home team wins FT
HF X/X- Draw at HT, Draw at FT
HF 2/1- Away team leads HT, Home team wins FT
HF 2/X- Away team leads HT, Draw at FT
HF 2/2- Away team wins at HT, Away team wins at FT

H WIN BOTH (Home Team Wins Both Halves) tab

  H Win Both- You need to predict if the Home team will wins both halves.

There are 2 possible outcomes:
Yes- HWBH- Home team wins both halves
No- HWBH- Home team doesn’t win both halves

NB: The two halves will be considered as independent between each other.
E.g. at the end of the first half, the score is 2-0 and the final result is 3-1, then the result of the first half is 2-0 and the result of the second is 1-1.

A WIN BOTH (Away team wins both halves) tab

 A Win Both- You need to predict if the Away team wins both halves. There are 2 possible outcomes:
Yes- Away team wins both halves
No- Away team doesn’t win both halves

NB: The two halves will be considered as independent between each other.
E.g. at the end of the first half, the score is 2-0 and the final result is 3-1, then the result of the first half is 2-0 and the result of the second is 1-1.

HANDICAP tab

 Handicap 1×2- When betting with a traditional handicap, points or goals are subtracted from the favorite team. If you bet on the stronger team, it will need to perform better than the handicap for you to win your bet (the handicap will be preceded by the sign “-“). The handicap will in fact be subtracted from its final score. Please note that the betting options are 1, X and 2, and that the standard 90 minutes play time has to be completed.

Example:
Liverpool (-1)- Sunderland, with Liverpool  as favorite team, handicap “-1”.
The betting options are 1=you bet on Liverpool,   x=you bet on a draw; 2=you bet on Sunderland.
1H wins if Liverpool wins with a score difference of at least 2 goals (ex. Liverpool- Sunderland: 2-0 or 3-1)
XH: wins if Sunderland loses with a score difference of 1 goal (ex. Liverpool- Sunderland: 1-0 or 2-1)
2H: wins if the match is a draw or Sunderland wins (ex. Liverpool- Sunderland: 0-1, or 1-1).

TOT GOALS (Total Goals) tab

To predict the number of goals that will be scored in the entire match choosing among the alternatives offered.




  0- No goals scored
1- One goal scored
2- Two goals scored
3- Three goals scored
4- Four goals scored
5- Five goals scored
6+- Six and more goals scored

TOTAL G.HT (Total Goals Half Time) tab

Tot G. 2HT (Total Goals 2nd Half Time)- To predict the number of goals that will be scored during the second half time of the match choosing among the alternatives offered.
0 T.G 2HT- No goals scored at 2HT
1 T.G 2HT- 1 goal scored at 2HT
2+ T.G 2HT- 2 and more goals scored at 2HT

MULTI GOAL tab

Need to predict the number of goals scored during the match based on different ranges offered by Bet9ja. There are 13 ranges, between 1 and 6 goals and a selection for 7 or more.
In the event of no goal scored, all the bets will be lost.




  Tot G. 2HT (Total Goals 2nd Half Time)- To predict the number of goals that will be scored during the second half time of the match choosing among the alternatives offered.
0 T.G 2HT- No goals scored at 2HT
1 T.G 2HT- 1 goal scored at 2HT
2+ T.G 2HT- 2 and more goals scored at 2HT

HALF TIME tab

  Half Time- You have to predict the outcome of the 1st half time of the match.
1HT- Home team leads at HT
XHT- Draw at HT
2 HT- Away team leads at HT

CORRECT SCORE tab

  C. Score- To predict the correct score of the entire match. You can choose from the given options.
Other- it’s a winning selection, only if the correct score is none of the given options.

HT C. SCORE (HT Correct Score) tab

Need to predict the correct score of half time. You can choose from the given options.
Other- it’s a winning selection, only if the correct score is none of the given options.

DNB (Draw No Bet) tab

  DNB- To predict which team will win the match. If the teams draw the selection will be void and will not be included in the computation of a possible bonus.
1 DNB- Home team wins
2DNB- Away team wins

DNB HT tab

Need to predict which team will win at Half Time. If the teams draw, the selection will be void and will not be included in the computation of a possible bonus.
1 DNB 1st Half- Home team wins at 1st Half
2DNB 1st Half - Away team wins at 1st Half

FIRST GOAL tab

  First Goal- You have to predict which team will score the first goal of the match. There are 3 possible outcomes:
1-1st Goal- Home team scores 1st Goal
X-1st Goal- No team scores
2-1st Goal- Away team scores 1st Goal

GG/NG (Goal Goal/ No Goal) tab

 There are 2 possible outcomes:
GG- Both teams to score at least one goal each during the whole match
NG- One or both teams do not score any goal during the whole match

 

GG/NG HT (Goal Goal/ No Goal at Half Time) tab

There are 2 possible outcomes:
GG 1H- Both teams to score at least one goal each at 1st half time
NG 1H- One or both teams do not score any goal at 1st half time

GG/NG 2HT (Goal Goal/ No Goal at 2nd Half Time) tab

There are 2 possible outcomes:
GG 2HT- Both teams to score at least one goal each at 2nd half time
NG 2HT- One or both teams do not score any goal at 2nd half time

  G. Home- To predict the number of goals that will be scored by the Home team during the whole match choosing among the alternatives offered.

G. AWAY (Goals Away Team) tab

 G. Away- To predict the number of goals that will be scored by the Away team during the whole match choosing among the alternatives offered.
0 Goals Away- Away team doesn’t score
1 Goals Away- Away team scores 1 goal
2 Goals Away- Away team scores 2 goals
3+Goals Away- Away team scores 3 goals and more

HS HALF (Highest Scoring Half) tab

 HS Half- You need to predict in which half will be obtained the highest scoring. There are 3 possible outcomes:
1st HSH- 1 half time is highest scoring
2nd HSH- 2 half time is highest scoring
Equal HSH- Both halves have equal scoring

ODD/EVEN tab

 Odd/Even- To predict if the number of goals scored during the entire match is going to be odd or even. A 0-0 result is considered even.
Odd- Scored goals are odd
Even- Scored goals are even

ODD/EVEN tab

Odd 1st Half- Scored goals at 1sthalf are odd
Even 1st Half- Scored goals at 1st half are even

O/E 2HT (Odd/Even 2nd Half Time) tab

Odd 2nd Half- Scored goals at 2nd half are odd
Even 2nd Half- Scored goals at 2nd half are even

H SC. BOTH (Home Scores Both Halves) tab

  Home SBHT- You have to predict if the Home team will score in both first and second half time of the match. The bet offers 2 possible outcomes:
Yes- HSBH- Home team will score in the both halves
No- HSBH- Home team will not score in the both halves

A SC. BOTH (Away Scores Both HT) tab

  Away SBHT- You have to predict if the Away team will score in both first and second half time of the match. The bet offers 2 possible outcomes:
Yes- ASBH- Away team will score in the both halves
No- ASBH- Away team will not score in the both halves

BOTH HO1.5 (Both Halves Over 1.5)

 Both H O1.5
Yes-BHO1.5- both team score at least 2 goals in total during each half
No-BHO1.5- both team do not score at least 2 goals in total during each half

BOTH HU1.5 (Both Halves Under 1.5)

   
Both H U1.5- You must predict if the total number of goals scored by both teams is a maximum of 1 goal during each half of the match.
Yes-BHU1.5- both teams score in total maximum 1 goal during each half
No-BHU1.5- both team do not score in total maximum 1 goal during each half
